Working with Project Translation Memory

Translation Memory (TM) is designed to provide maximum content re-use and to facilitate collaboration between globally distributed localization resources. Translation Memory includes a database of terminology (glossary of terms) and a blacklist (list of restricted terms) database. Translators can leverage reusable content in the following two ways.

Translation Memory (TM) can be managed both by project managers and translators; TM managment includes the following tasks:

• Creating Translation Memory

• Adding Local Translation Memory

• Connecting to Remote Translation Memory

• Editing Local Translation Memory

• Copying Translation Memory

• Importing Translation Memory

• Exporting Translation Memory

• Removing Translation Memory
