Frequently Asked Questions about the Wordfast User Conference
Is my registration refundable?
Attendees who cancel their participation no later than 45 days before the planned event date may receive a refund of their registration fees, minus a 15% administrative fee. Partial refunds may be made no later than 15 days before the planned event date. No refunds will be granted for cancellations beyond that point. Refunds will be processed 30 days after receiving written notification of cancellation. Cancellations must be requested by writing to the organizers.
- If we have to cancel the event due to a pandemic resurgence, we will do so with 45-day advance notice and fully refund your registration.
Any cancellation fees will be waived if you are prevented from traveling to the conference due to government-imposed travel restrictions.

What does the hotel room include and can I extend my stay or check out late?
Rates are per room and night with buffet breakfast and VAT 10% included. You will pay for your stay upon checking out. The accommodation rates do not include the touristic city tax. The current applicable tax is 1,32 € VAT included per person and night with a maximum of 7 nights. Minors under 16th years old are exempt of this tax. Wi-Fi is complimentary for clients staying in the hotel and available in bedrooms, restaurants, and halls.
Check-in: 15:00 h (early check-in as per hotel’s availability).Check-out: 12:00 h (noon) Supplement for late check-out is 30 € VAT included per room until 16hrs / 4 pm. This supplement is subject to the hotel availability.Arriving before the 15th or extending your stay after the 18th is subject to availability. When registering for the conference, please specify your preferred check-in and check-out dates and we will confirm your extra nights with the hotel.

I don’t want to stay at the conference hotel. Can I register without having to pay for the hotel?
Yes, the conference registration fee does not include your hotel stay. If you want to stay at the conference hotel, please reserve your room when registering and you can pay at the hotel. We have a limited block of rooms so book early!

How do I book my stay at the conference hotel? Is there a special rate for attendees? Can I arrive earlier or stay later?
We have negotiated a block of rooms at a special reduced rate of €170 per night and €180 per night for 1 or 2 adults, respectively. Please reserve your room when registering for the conference. Our special rate is available before and after the conference, subject to availability. Based on your registration room booking, we will contact the hotel on your behalf to see if it is possible to arrive early or extend your stay.
