Add a Local TM

A local translation memory (TM) resides on your local computer disk. You can add a local TM to your project at the time of creation or as a separate action.

  Alert:

You can only add TMs created by Wordfast Pro 4 or 5. If you want to add TMs from Wordfast Classic or Wordfast Pro 3, use the Import TM action.

To add a local translation memory to a project:

  1. In Current Project view and on the Project TM tab, click Add Local.
  2. In the resulting Opening TM dialog, browse to the local TM folder, and select it.
  3. Click Select Folder.

    The selected TM is added to the project and displayed in the project TM list.
