Import a TM

To import a local translation memory:

  1. In the Current Project view and on the Project TM tab, click Import TM.
  2. In the resulting Import Translation Memory dialog, select the import File Type from the drop-down list:

    • WF Classic TM—File format provides backward compatibility for WordFast Classic and WordFast Pro 3.

    • TMX—Translation Memory eXchange file format provides compatibility with all translation tools.

    Import File

    Identifies the file for import.

    Create New TM

    Imports the TM into a new TM file.

    Import into Existing TM

    Imports the TM into an available TM file, based on selection from the drop-down list.

    Existing TM

    Selects an available TM file, based on selection from the drop-down list.

    If TU already exists

    Imports the TM into an available TM file, based on selection from the drop-down list.
  3. Click OK.

    The translation memory is imported and is in the project TM list.
