Leverage a TM

When Wordfast leverages a segment, it selects the best possible translation from the connected translation memories or machine translation engines for populating target segments.

To leverage a translation memory:

  1. Follow the steps in Open and Translate Files.
  2. Click the Translation tab in the TXLF Editor, then select the segments to leverage against the current TM.
  3. Select an action to leverage the current TM.

    Leverages a single segment

    Until Fuzzy

    Leverages segment content until reaching a fuzzy match

    Until No Match

    Leverages segment content until there is no match

    Translate All

    Leverages all content in all segments
