Open and Translate Files

After you open a project, you can access the files that comprise the project from the Project Files tab. Refer to Chain Files to chain multiple files together into one contiguous file.

To open a file for translation:

On the Project Files tab, select a file and click Translate File.
(Optional) On the Translation tab, copy all tags in the source segment to the target segment. Refer to Copy All Tags.
Select a target segment and enter the translation.
Click Next Segment or press Alt+Down to update the TM and move down one target segment.

Best Practice:
Save your work often by clicking Save on the File tab or by pressing Ctrl+S.
