NEW ORLEANS, OCTOBER 25, 2018 – Wordfast, the world’s largest provider of platform-independent translation memory software solutions, today announced it raised over $3000 for the UN Global Foundation’s Nothing But Nets initiative. The campaign raises awareness, funds, and voices to help fight malaria.
The money was raised via donations from more than 270 attendees at Wordfast’s annual user appreciation party. The company matched all donations to contribute a total of $3010 to Nothing But Nets.
“Since 2009, Wordfast has proudly supported the UN Global Foundation’s efforts to eradicate malaria. It’s quite simple: $10 buys a bed net and protects children and women—those most at risk—from contracting this deadly disease,” stated Wordfast CEO, Yves Champollion. “We thank our users for supporting this initiative over the years and protecting more than 800 families from malaria.”
