Configure Advanced Settings

Advanced Settings preferences control the means to restore a Wordfast Pro installation to factory or default settings, migrate preferences between computers, and customize strings.

To configure advanced settings:

  1. Click Advanced Settings in the User Preferences group.
  2. (Optional) Restore the Default Settings by either clicking Restore Original, based on original settings at the time of installation, or Restore Defaults, based on default preferences.
      Note:

    This action removes all projects, TMs, and glossaries in the Wordfast Pro installation.

  3. (Optional) To set export and import preferences, click Export or Import to apply export or import settings values to user preferences.

    • On the Export dialog, select all or some of the preferences settings, browse and select a file name and location, then click Export.

    • On the Import dialog, browse and select the exported preferences file name and location, select all or some of the preferences settings, then click Import.

  4. (Optional) Click , type an option in the Customization String List field, then click OK.
  5. Click OK.

    The configuration is complete.
