Import a Local Blacklist

To use a local blacklist from another source, use the Import Blacklist action.

To import a local blacklist:

  1. On the Projects tab, double-click a project from the projects list.
  2. Click Import Blacklist on the Project Terminology tab.
  3. On the Import Blacklist dialog, select the import File Type from the drop-down list.
      Note:

    Required fields are marked with a red asterisk.

    TXT — File format imports raw text files.

    Import File

    Identifies the file for import. Click Browse to locate and select the Import File.

    Create a new blacklist

    Uses the imported blacklist to create a new blacklist.

    Import into existing blacklist

    Uses the imported blacklist to add to the selected blacklist.

    Existing Blacklist

    Appends the imported blacklist to an existing blacklist file, based on selection from the drop-down list.

    If term already exists

    Imports the term into an existing blacklist file, based on selection from the drop-down list.

    • Add as a new term — Add the term to the existing blacklist file.

    • Do not overwrite — Ignore the term and retain the term already in the blacklist file.

    • Overwrite existing term — Use the new term to replace the term already in the blacklist file.

    Clear before import

    Deletes the existing term and replaces it with the new blacklist term.
  4. Click OK.
