Modify a TM

Project translation memories (TMs) may or may not be protected from edits.

To modify a local or remote translation memory:

  1. In the Current Project view and on the Project TM tab, click Modify TM.
  2. In the resulting Translation Memory dialog, modify the TM details as required.
      Note:

    If you modify the Name field, it will only make the TM name change within the Wordfast Pro application, not on your local disk.

      Note:

    You can only select one primary TM for a project.

  3. (Optional) Select the TM identified in the Name field for the current project using Selected.
  4. (Optional) Select Read Only to allow users to leverage the TM but not update it with new translation.
  5. Click OK.
