Leverage Machine Translations

Wordfast Pro includes an automated machine translation (MT) feature that populates translations whenever a file is open or when there are no translation memory (TM) segment matches. Select the desired source for your machine translation and configure Machine Translation options in General Preferences.

To leverage machine translations:

In TXLF Editor and on the Translation tab, click Machine Translation to send the source segment out for machine translation and populate the target segment with the results.
(Optional) Verify that the MT for the source segments align with your requirements.
(Optional) If you are updating the current segment only, continue your work and repeat as often as necessary until you are ready to save and commit all translated segments to the TM.
