Unconfirm a Segment

Translators can use the Unconfirm/Confirm action to switch between the confirmed or unconfirmed status of a translated segment. Confirmed segments are added to the translation memory (TM) while unconfirmed segments are not.

To unconfirm a segment:

You can only unconfirm a segment that is already confirmed.

In the TXLF Editor view, select a confirmed translation segment to unconfirm.
On the Translation tab, choose one of the following actions:
- Press Alt+Shift+Enter to unconfirm all segments.
- Click Unconfirm/Confirm.
The TM is not updated with the target segment content.

The is displayed in the segment Status column.
(Optional) To later confirm the segment, click Unconfirm/Confirm again.
