Customizing Shortcuts

To select keyboard shortcuts navigate to Preferences then Shortcuts as described below.

  1. Click Preferences under Options.

    The overall preferences setup panel appears defaultimg to the last selected preference.

  2. Click Shortcuts in the General Preferences section.

    The dialog to customize keyboard shortcuts opens for the Application scheme.

  3. Select a scheme from the Scheme drop-down menu.

  4. Select a Command.

    In the example below, the Terminology Highlight shortcut is selected.

  5. Select that command to access edit mode.
  6. Press the new sequence of keys, beginning with Ctrl or Alt, "Ctrl+Shft+F7" in the Shortcut column.

    The shortcut key is modified, as shown in the example below.

      Note:

    A new shortcut key sequence must begin with a Ctrl or Alt, or must be a Function key (F1).

  7. Click OK.
