Leveraging Translation Memory

Translation memory is a collection of previously approved translations, used to increase consistency and speed up translation. When a translation memory (TM) is active, suggestions from the TM appear as the translation is entered, as shown in the example below.

To leverage Translation Memory from the Translation dashboard:

  1. Select a file to translate.
  2. Click Translate File.

    The file appears in the Translation window. The first translatable segment opens with the cursor in the target segment.

  3. Click the Translation tab.
  4. Click Leverage in the Segment area or press Alt+Space bar.

    The leveraged content from the TM appears.
