Importing Projects

A GlobalLink Package of project files comprises everything for a project. Using the Import Package option, a project can be transfered from another Wordfast Pro installation without requiring a manual setup of the project on the receiving Wordfast Pro.

To import project files:

Click Import Package (or drag and drop a GLP file).

The Import Package dialog opens as shown in the following figure.

Use Browse to locate and select the GLP file.
The Import Package dialog is populated with the selected file name and a list (drop-down) of available projects in the GLP (shown in the following figure).

Select the GLP file and.
- If this is an existing project, select Update Project and provide the project name and location
- If this is to be a new project, select Create New Project and provide a project name and location

Click Import.
The current project view opens in the Project Files tab dashboard listing the TXLF files for translation as shown in the following figure.
