Creating Translation Memories

A new Translation Memory (local) can be created as described below.

To create a local Translation Memory for an existing project:

On the Project TM dashboard, click Create Local.

Enter the following Translation Memory information:

Option	Description
Name	Enter a Translation Memory name. It is recommended that this name include the client or organization name and the language output in which the TM is created.
Source Language	The source language cannot be modified, the source language declared in the project is used.
Target Language	The target language is limited to those declared in the project.
Location	The location where the new TM is to be saved.
Priority	This relative priority determines the sequence of reference during translation; Primary being first in line.
Selected	Checking Selected indicates that this Translation Memory is active and should be used.
Read Only	Selecting this option prevents any modifications to the TM.

Click OK.
The new Translation Memory is created as requested.
