Selecting Auto Propagation Options

Auto Propagation allows repetitive content in the document to be translated consistently, by propagating translated segments. The Auto Propagation options control which segments are candidates for auto propagation.

To edit the Auto Propagation preferences, navigate to Preferences then Auto Propagation as described below:

Click Preferences under Options.
The overall preferences setup panel appears defaulting to the last selected preference.

Click Auto Propogation.
The Auto Propagation preferences appear. All options are selected by default.

Note:
Auto Propagation is enabled by default and must be enabled, to use the Auto Propagation options listed below.
Select Enable Auto Propagation to disable or enable Auto Propagation.

Review the Auto Propagation options to ensure that those required are the only ones selected. The options are described inthe following table.

Option	Descripton
100% Matches	Overwrites 100% leveraged Translation Memory (TM) matches.
Fuzzy Matches	Overwrites partial Translation Memory matched.
Autopropagated Matches	Overwrites all autopropagated matches. This means that if there are multiple segments that have the same content then editing one segment auto propagates the change in all matching segments.
Edited Segments	Overwrites edited segments. This allows segments that have been edited to be overwritten by Auto Propagation.
Machine Translated Segments	Overwrites machine translated content.
Committed Segments	Overwrites translated content which is commited to the Translation Memory (TM).
